Project description
An educational project to promote astronomy and astrophysics among high school students. The school provides a unique opportunity to study astrophysics and space under the guidance of scientists for students from 9th to 11th grade. The three-year training program includes face-to-face visits to astronomical laboratories, online mentoring and the implementation of scientific projects.
Target outcome
All-Russian Astrophysical and Astronomical science-oriented school (offline and online format) for students in grades 9-11 with an annual enrollment of up to 100 people.
Stage
Operational activity since 2018. Children are being recruited for the 3rd school (starting in August 2025). A search is underway for patrons and partners to implement the annual recruitment.
