Cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev awarded the winners and prize-winners of the "Star Relay"

Imagine 150
schoolchildren from all over Russia in one room, each of whom can
change the world in the future. They show scientific, technical, biomedical,
artistic, and literary projects, some of which could well find
a place in adult competitions. Children between the ages of 6 and 18 are united by their love of
space. The guys gathered in Korolev and demonstrated their talents
to the experts.
In the same place, we saw
the spacecraft on which Yuri Gagarin descended after the first flight, visited
the full—size models of the Mir and Salyut-3 orbital stations, learned about
rocket engines and cosmonauts, listened to interesting lectures (including
from a test cosmonaut in a mock-up of a spacesuit!)
Andrey Fedyaev became the main character (after the winners, of course) at the award ceremony in the Moscow Palace
of Pioneers. He became the 130th Russian cosmonaut and the 600th
cosmonaut in history. In 2023, he traveled to the International Space
Station on SpaceX's Dragon spacecraft. Andrey Fedyaev spent 185 days on the ISS.
Commemorative
cups and books about space were presented to the winners, and the winners were awarded
, including by the authors themselves. For example, Igor Afanasyev, co-author of The First Space
Race: The Duel for Sputnik, was on the jury of the literary and journalistic section and
signed autographs for children. Ekaterina Avsyannikova, author of the book "Alpha Orion. The mission
Venus was also on the jury and at the award ceremony.
The books "Yuri Gagarin's Earth Orbits" by A. A. Simonov and
"Cosmos" by Denis Prudnik and cosmonaut Alexander Lazutkin were also presented to children in separate categories.
The Russian vendor
Infinit, with whom the Frontiers of Science Guild signed
a cooperation agreement on April 12, 2025, awarded two participants with laptops. This
is the first example of interaction between the Guild and the vendor for the implementation
of educational projects.
The devices received
projects from the scientific and technical section "Development of a cross-bend repeater for the MC
Chelyabinsk-290" and "Voice assistant for cosmonaut".
