The guild "Frontiers of Science" invested 10 million rubles in the educational service "POVUZAM" to expand the possibilities of choosing a university

As part
of the Innovator's Day, the Frontiers of Science Guild invested 10 million rubles in the Russian
POVUZAM service, which helps schoolchildren and applicants choose a university for
admission. The official receipt presentation ceremony took place in Moscow.
The funds received will be used to develop the platform: connect new universities,
expand into the regions, develop interactive tour formats, make technical
improvements, and expand the team.
The service has been created
Oksana Ashirova and Vitaly Sorokin, PhD
students at the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University). He helps future students not only choose a university, but
also immerse themselves in its atmosphere through guided tours, consultations with teachers and
students, as well as receive assistance in preparing documents for admission.
Currently
, 57 leading Russian universities are connected to the platform, including:
- Moscow Poly
- Higher School of Economics
- Bauman Moscow State Technical University
- ITMO
- RANHiGS
- PRUE named after. Plekhanov
- University Moscow Government
During the excursions
, applicants get acquainted with the scientific developments of universities: from robots and racing
cars to 3D printers that print food and biomedical prostheses. This
allows you not only to learn about learning opportunities, but also to be inspired by science and
technology.
The Frontiers
of Science Guild, which supports basic research and education, sees in
POVUZAM is a tool for finding and developing young talents.
"Education should
be interesting and accessible. "POVUZAM“ gives students the opportunity to ”try on"
their future profession, see advanced technologies and understand where
to go next. Today's applicants are tomorrow's scientists, engineers, and doctors
who may make a breakthrough in space exploration," Galina noted.
Malygina, co-founder of the guild.
Oksana Ashirova,
co-founder of the service, added:
"We help young
people choose their profession consciously. Those who come to our excursions
today may become startup founders, pioneers in science, or
engineers who will build ships to fly to other planets tomorrow."
Since its launch
, more than 2,000 schoolchildren have used the service. With new investments
POVUZAM plans to:
- to increase the coverage of universities, including in the regions;
- develop VR tours for remote acquaintance with universities;
- expand the consulting support for admission;
- launch new formats of interaction with applicants.
